Tali is an exploration of geometric movement and color infusion combinations. It is an abstract piece where I introduced natural arches that interlocked to create circular geometric shapes, which also connect with warm and cool hues. Browns and dark blues are the driving force in the piece, and with highlights of yellow tones moving throughout. The negative space creates infused colors and tones that enhance the depth to the motion within circular forms.
As you examine the piece you are introduced to the harmony of arches, perspective, contrasting tones, and organic textures that create an energetic piece of art composed of geometric shapes. Your eye will follow the hues of neutrals with hints of bright crisp tones that allow your eye to travel around the piece and enjoy the movement of the points of each color. It has a square color theory composition with color harmony.
Temperature and tones introduce a palette that is balanced and visually stunning. It explores geometric blades that curve and reach out to the next point. Tali was created with color pencils on tan tone paper, which enhances its organic texture to be part of the overall design. The main concept of the design was focused on creating circular geometric shapes with a myriad of colors. I did not want every circular shape to be identical but vary in sizes with tones and shades of hues that would evoke unity with independent connections.
