I love taking photos of flowers. I have not taken as many for this collection, but I plan on taking more. I focused on smaller flowers so that the frame was not overwhelmed. The photo of “White Flowers” was like finding stars clustered among the leaves. In color the contrast of white with the verdant green makes the presence of the flowers prominent.
Photography always fascinated me since childhood. Photos capture a fleeting moment and engrains a memory into permanence. When I was younger, I was blessed with great physical balance while holding my camera and finding a unique angle.
Crystal Bada is a piece where I envision the sea as it moves while the sun rays become transparent among all the hues and crystal forms created.
River Road was inspired by walking a fall morning through Hoboken, New Jersey alongside the Hudson River.
Fabric is a wonderful substrate to imprint our artwork. It can be used from clothing, tapestries, crafting projects, fashion accessories, and/or home décor. Incorporating our distinctive artwork into a space can bring excitement or a pop of colors to a room.
Tali is an exploration of geometric movement and color infusion combinations. It is an
abstract piece where I introduced natural arches that interlocked to create circular
geometric shapes, which also connect with warm and cool hues.
When I go to a new place, in my excitement I take photos immediately when ready. The first interesting setting or action among the wildlife makes me snap my camera.
