My introduction to art at four years old, was seeing my mom draw a flower. It was a wonderful experience to see a flower appear before my eyes. Understanding what art is, came later as a student hearing the art definition by a professor to our class. His definition impacted me as an artist. My art creation process is an organic incorporation of texture, shapes, colors, and an engineered perspective of components. Every piece captures my interpretation of a moment, a time, a place, or a mood, which takes the viewer on a journey. My goal is to produce art that connects and enriches collectors, designers, and art lovers.
Art was always a part of my life. From opening a box of crayons and coloring on a blank sheet of paper to creating lines with only a pencil. Art for me was a place of comfort, where I could create something new with my hands. As I grew, I learned about new ways to make art. I painted, drew, made collages, and studied art up close or from far away.
I discovered photography as a method to tell stories and describe the outside world artistically by capturing it beautifully. My photography centers on moments in nature that exhibit refreshing beauty and inspire awe. The focus is the wonder of nature and all the majesty in a viewable space. When I look through my camera, I find spectacular angles. My subjects vary from wildlife, landscapes, and seascapes.
